 Robert was 10 years old when he first visited a Thousand Trails campground. There he met a group of children close in age who hung around and played together during their stays at the campground. One of those kids happened to be a 9-year old girl named Casey.
That special group of kids became immediate friends, always looking forward to the times they could spend together. Through the years, Robert and Casey's friendship blossomed. In 2000, Robert, then 16, and Casey, then 15, started dating. It wasn't always easy to keep their relationship going when they weren't camping since they lived about 30 miles from each other. Then Casey went away to college which added to the challenge that usually comes with long distance romances.
On April 30, 2010, Robert and Casey welcomed their first child, an adorable little boy and, 3 months later on July 16, celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. They plan to spend plenty of family trips enjoying the great outdoors at Thousand Trails!

This year we have allocated $5 million in additions and renovations to Thousand Trails resorts and campgrounds—properties like Cultus lake, which went green with a new, environmentally friendly roof on the family center and new recycling centers. Additionally, a number of RV sites were rebuilt.

February 21st: Bite of Blaine - Blaine, WA
This annual event brings together local restaurants and area food confectioners from Blaine and Birch Bay serving up tasty samplings. Attended by hundreds of hungry people, this event sells out every year. Tickets are $25 per person and are not available at the door.
