Preserve Description
Nestled in the beautiful Coachella Valley amid 805 date palms, this 25-acre preserve is the perfect winter vacation destination. A golfer's paradise, the Palm Springs area has numerous well-groomed courses and has become one of the most popular destinations in the world for this activity. The Salton Sea and Lake Cahuilla are just a short distance away for those interested in fishing. No matter what you enjoy, there is something for you in this desert community! Beautiful, natural attractions such as Joshua Tree National Park, Thousand Palms Oasis, Indian Canyon, the Living Desert Wildlife & Botanical Preserve, as well as the Santa Rosa/San Jacinto National Monuments await. Take in breathtaking views of the mountains and the Coachella Valley from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway as it lifts you up 8,000 feet to the peak of Mt. San Jacinto!
Palm Springs is closed from mid-May to mid-September.
The preserve is designated high use from December through March. We recommend you make your reservations as early as possible during these times.

Mail Delivery
The preserve does not accept personal mail. All personal mail must be addressed to General Delivery, Thousand Palms, CA 92276; or General Delivery, Palm Desert, CA 92260: or General Delivery, Indio, CA 92201; or General Delivery, La Quinta, CA 92253. Federal Express and UPS deliveries will not be accepted by the preserve, but can be delivered directly to your site. Please provide your site number to the sender.
