From Metro NY & NJ Area: Take I-78 into PA to I-81 - approximately 75 miles in PA. Take I-81 south to junction I-83. Take I-83 south to junction of Rt. 30, Exit 22. Go west on Rt. 30 to Big Mount Rd. - second right after York Airport. Turn right onto Big Mount Rd. and go 5 miles to campground on left.

From Philadelphia: Take the PA Turnpike, I-76 west to I-83, Exit 242. Take I-83 south. Follow directions from Metro NY & NJ.

From The Pocono Resort Area: Take I-80 west to the Rt. 33 south Exit. Follow Rt. 33 south to I-78 west. Take I-78 to its termination at I-81. Take I-81 south. Follow directions from Metro NY & NJ.

From The South: Take either Rt. 15 north or I-81 north Exit 16 to Rt. 30 east 24 miles to Gettysburg. Follow Rt. 30 east another 20 miles. Go left on Big Mount Rd. (If you pass the York Airport, you passed Big Mount Rd.). Travel 5 miles to campground entrance on left.

From The South Via I-83: Go north to junction of Rt. 30, Exit 21B west.Go west on Rt. 30 to Big Mount Rd. - second right after York Airport. Follow directions from Metro NY & NJ.

From the West: PA Turnpike east to Exit 242 - I-83 south to junction of Rt. 30, Exit 22. Go west on Rt. 30. Follow directions from Metro NY & NJ.

Additional Local Information

The long anticipated bridge construction has finally begun. These two bridges are next to the property and handle traffic coming to the park from the north. This construction project will be a 2 year deal. All traffic must enter the campground via south of the campground.

Alternate routes into the park:
- U.S. Rt. 30 to Big Mount Rd.
- P.A. Rt. 234 to Big Mount Rd.
- Canal Rd. to Big Mount Rd.
