Preserve Description
This preserve lies among green fields and pecan groves along the shores of the Colorado River, midway between Houston and San Antonio. Abundant wildlife, including deer and armadillo, can be seen throughout the campground. Hiking, canoeing and fishing are popular activities.
We are open this summer in limited status. All check-ins must arrive by 5pm or will be directed to the overflow parking lot adjacent to the Activity Center for check in after 8am the following day.
