From Lynchburg: Take Hwy 501 south to Rustburg. Turn left on Hwy 24 for 1 mile. Turn right onto Hwy 615 and go 6 miles to Hwy 650. Turn right. The preserve entrance is 1/2 mile on the right.

From the east: Follow Route 460 west to Concord. Turn left onto Hwy 24 and travel 8 miles to Hwy 615. Turn left onto Hwy 615 and travel 6 miles to Hwy 650. Turn right onto Hwy 650. The preserve entrance is located 1/2 mile down the road on the right.

From the south: Travel north on Hwy 501 to Gladys, turn right onto Hwy 652 and travel 1.5 miles to Hwy 650. Turn left onto Hwy 650. The preserve is 3 miles away on the left.

From the south (alternate): Travel north on Hwy 29 to Hwy 24, 12 miles north of Altavista. Turn right on Hwy 24 and travel 6 miles through Rustburg to Hwy 615. Travel 6 miles to Hwy 650 and turn right. Preserve is 1/2 mile on the right.
