From Seattle/Bellevue, WA: Take I-5 south to Morton-Yakima Exit #68 (US Hwy 12 East). Proceed east for approximately 14 miles on Hwy 12. Turn left onto SR 122 at the Silver Creek Grange. Proceed to Schoen Road and turn left (1st road on the left). Proceed up the hill 1 mile and, at the 90-degree corner, proceed straight on to Salem Plant Road.

Preserve Description
This preserve is a fisherman's delight! With two private, stocked lakes and convenient access to Riffe Lake, you can enjoy a full array of fishing experiences. Meanwhile, the rest of the family can go snow or water skiing, golfing, swimming or play tennis, ping-pong, and volleyball. Photographers will enjoy capturing the beauty of the tulip and daffodil fields in the area and the natural beauty of surrounding Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens.

We're open! During our off-season, many improvements and repairs have been made. These projects are as follows: upper restrooms have been thoroughly cleaned and repainted; the unopened sites have been cleaned up and the trees have been thinned out; and all of the picnic tables have been repaired. Also, Paradise resort now has two cabins available for rental.

For some entertainment nearby the resort, here are a few suggestions...

DeGoede's Bulb Farm & Garden is open throughout the year. The beautiful gardens are free of charge to visit and walk through if you would like to enjoy some beautiful flowers and plants.

The "Old Settlers Museum" showcases old logging and mining equipment. Located at 710 Main Street, the museum is open Saturday and Sunday (1pm to 4pm), Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is free. Please call 360-496-6446.
