Birch Bay, WA

After much anticipation the Birch Bay Welcome Center is nearing its initial phase of internal completion.

Bay Landing, TX

Five new 50-amp sites have been hooked up in Section 1 and they are ready to go!

Chehalis, WA

New pumps and meters have been installed in the water plant at Chehalis and new washers and dryers have been installed in the laundry room. A Point of Sale system has been added next to the change machine, with which you can pay for your laundry with a credit or debit card, as well as quarters. An Internet connection even allows you to check on the status of your laundry from your PC or smart phone!

Chesapeake Bay, VA

The best enhancement this year is the new pier, which replaces the old one that had been battered by many storms over the years -- including 2011’s Hurricane Irene. The new pier has the same footprint, but it’s higher to keep storm waters from submerging it so often, and it is better designed and constructed to withstand the inevitable storm surges.

Crescent Bar, WA

The installation of an automated sprinklers that allows for watering at night. Now, watering won't disturb member activities.

Cultus Lake, BC

The installation of the metal roofs on Restroom 1, 2 and the Ranger Station at Cultus Lake are now complete.

Harbor View, IN

A new mini-golf course was installed.

Hidden Cove, AL

WiFi is now available and the pool received a new shade roof!

Idyllwild, CA

The campground's numerous improvements new electrical sites, playground, dog run, horse corrals, upholstery and paint.

La Conner, WA

Beach cabins were upgraded this past spring and now have new stoves, refrigerators, beds, euro couches, colorful curtains and 32-inch flat screen TVs.

Lake Conroe, TX

The Activity Center at Lake Conroe has been painted and is looking great, and roads were repaved.

Long Beach, OR

The existing tent area was remodeled to include parking spaces and fire pits. Additionally, a dozen new tent sites were added.

Medina Lake, TX

Medina Lake has a new 60-inch flat screen TV in the Activity Center for all to enjoy.

Pacific City, OR

A new Welcome Center and entrance to the resort was completed this year. The Welcome Center now houses the ranger/registration, manager, administrator/revenue supervisor and CampHost employees all in one location. This has improved efficiency with check ins and handling additional services.

Paradise Resort, WA

Paradise Resort received a new floor in the clubhouse and in the adult lodge, as well a new roof on the clubhouse and the upper restroom. The bridge over the creek between the upper and lower ponds was replaced as well as the large boat dock. Some extensive tree trimming will continue in the spring.

Peace River, FL

Pool and spa upgrades stand out as the best of our 2012 improvements.

Pine Country, IL

New tile in one of the bathhouses and major electrical upgrades throughout the park.

Rancho Oso, CA

Rancho Oso is getting 3 new rental cottages which will replace 3 of the older rental trailers. Each cottage will have a queen bed in a separate bedroom, living room with sofa sleeper and bunk beds, kitchen with table and chairs and bath. Please note that the spa at Rancho Oso will remain open all year. Ages 12 and over will be allowed with adult supervision. The heated pool will be closed through mid-March 2013.

Snowflower, CA

Snowflower has completely re-surfaced the swimming pool and replaced the fencing around the pool. Weather permitting, plan is to open the pool in the summer of 2013. Also opening this spring is the Country Store which will now house the ranger station for check-ins, rentals and information for current events around and about the area.

South Jetty, OR

The new roof on our Activity Center completed this summer. It is just stunning with the picturesque pines overlooking it. Electric service has been restored to the A loop sites at South Jetty and they are opening additional full hook-up RV sites. Don’t forget the RV Resource Guide is now available at South Jetty.

Turtle Beach, CA

Upgrades to the dump station, with larger concrete pad, new access and a fresh coat of paint, plus entry road repaving.

Wilderness Lakes, CA

Maintenance staff rebuilt the deck to the sales office, adult lodge and operations office. The old deck was replaced with two smaller decks, both with handicap ramps and railings. It looks great, will be easier to maintain and is much safer for all.
