THEME WEEKENDS 2012

Here at Lake of The Springs we have a wonderful recreation staff that will provide the following scheduled activities for 2012 -- we hope you enjoy your stay!  

FOOD SERVICE
We serve breakfast year round every Saturday and Sunday. Friday and Saturday night dinners are served during the peak time of the year.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
During our peak time of the year we have live band music every Saturday starting on Memorial Day weekend and ending Labor Day weekend. John Carter is here Saturday evenings to host and sing for you at our Family Campfire starting Easter weekend continuing every Saturday through Halloween.

January 1st  Happy New Year * No Host Continental Breakfast

February 11th  Valentines Candlelight Dinner and Dance.

March 17th  St Patrick’s Celebration Dinner and Dance.

April 6th, 7th & 8th  Join us for an all day Craft & Variety Fair.

April 7th & 8th  Easter Weekend - Saturday we’ll be having a Kids Fishing Derby, Easter Egg Decorating, and a Family Dance. On Sunday we have Sunrise Service and an Easter Egg Hunt with a visit from the Easter Bunny!

April 23rd  –  27th  Line Dance Festival with Marion and friends,lots of dancing, friends and good food.

May 13th  Mothers Day - All Mom Alert - FREE French toast breakfast. 

May 25th, 26th & 27th  All day Craft & Variety Fair.

May 26th and 27th  Memorial Day Weekend -  Teen Dance, Family Dance, Kids Fishing Derby, too many activities to list, so come join the fun! 

May 28th  On Monday join us for the Special Memorial Day Flag Ceremony, we will be also serving breakfast.

June 17th  Fathers Day - All Dad Alert - FREE French toast breakfast.

July 4th  A Family celebration, we will haveour family parade down lodge hill followed by a fireworksdisplay with Patriotic music.

July 7th  Kids Fishing Derby, Teen Dance, Family Dance, and Much, Much More.

August Hip-Hip-Hooray 2nd Annual Staff Appreciation Cake Party - *Date, time & location to be announced* - We here at Lake of the Springs have a WONDERFUL Staff, and to show them how much we appreciate everything they do, the management will be having the 2nd ANNUAL STAFF APPRECIATION CAKE PARTY !
 
August 31st, September 1st & 2nd  Is our Craft & Variety Fair.

September 1st & 2nd  Lots of fun activities for the kids, including Kids Fishing Derby.

September 3rd  Monday we will be serving breakfast.

October 15th - 19th  Line Dance Festival with Marion and friends, lots of dancing, friends and good food.

October 27th  Lake of the Spring celebrates Halloween, we will be having a Kids Fishing Derby, Trunk or Treating in the main parking lot, Site Decorating contest, Pumpkin Carving Contest, and a Costume Contest.

November 22nd   Come and enjoy Thanksgiving at Lake of the Springs, we will be having a Thanksgiving potluck, we provide the turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing, you bring a side dish. Please purchase tickets at the Trading Post or call (530) 692-3215 for additional information.

November 23rd, 24th, & 25th  Craft & Variety Fair

December 8th  Christmas Tree trimming, we will be serving hot chocolate next to the cozy fireplace while we trim the Christmas tree.

December 31st  Ring in the New Year – Candlelight Dinner, Live Music, Dancing with Family & Friends.
