Welcome to the Lake of the Springs Activities page. Below is a list of our scheduled activities for the 2009 season.

Theme Weekends 2009

April 11th - 12th - Easter Weekend - Were going to have a hopping good time! Hop on through the craft and variety fair. Join the fun with egg coloring for all ages. Join us for dinner and then bounce on into the family dance with DJ John King. Join us for Sunrise service and then later kids 0-12 years will enjoy an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny.


May 22nd -24th - Memorial Weekend - The big season kick off! Take a walk through the craft and variety fair. That special gift is just waiting for you to find it. Friday starts the season’s adult bingo. Check out the RV Show. You just might see something you like. Everyone will have something to do. Kids will enjoy the fishing derby and waterslides. Teens will meet new friends on the patio boat at the teen pizza party and teen dance. The whole family will like the campfire sing-a-long and marshmallow roast featuring John Carter. Or, take the whole family to the family dance and boogie away with Joanie Lee and the Branding Iron.


June 13th - Blast from the Past Weekend - Step back to when family picnics were a time of fun and games. Pack a lunch and join us for some good old fashioned fun with sack races, 3 legged races and more. Later come on down for some good old tie dyeing fun. Bring your own shirt or buy one from us. Sit around the campfire with John Carter for a good old fashioned sing a long. Still know how to do the jitter bug? Then come on over to the family dance and move to the sounds from DJ Eric of the good old 50's 60's and 70's.


June 20th - Wild West Weekend - Pony rides and petting zoo for our young cowboys and cowgirls


July 3rd - 5th - Independence Day Family Fun Weekend - The fun starts Friday! You may enjoy the family campfire with John Carter. The family dance will be on Friday as well. Saturday features a kids fishing derby, a BBQ in the park, free watermelon feed, followed by family parade down lodge hill. The whole family can join in decorating yourself, pets, bikes…anything you like. Then sit back and enjoy our spectacular fireworks display.  Sunday day is filled with games, water and fun.


July 18th - Wet and Wild Water Sliding Fun Weekend - This is not just for kids, but for all young at heart. Summer is here and it's time to have water fun. From water balloons to super soakers, how wet can you get? We will put up our waterslides for the kids. For anyone who would like to join, we will play water volleyball in the lake. Or, if you like you can just relax in our beautiful pool. So, bring your toys and your suits and look out! You might just get wet.


July 25th – Wacky Weekend - Join us for some silly fun! We’ll be doing everything from wacky relays to wacky games. Whatever it may be, it’s going to be fun. How silly can you be? Do you own some kind of crazy and wacky clothing? If so, wear them to our wacky contest at the family dance.


August 8th - Miner 49er Weekend - All ages young and old, learn how miners panned for gold. Then apply your new knowledge and try your luck panning for gold and other fine minerals. Sign up to caravan to the Historic Empire Mine. So pack a snack and let’s go for a ride. The mine is located only 35 miles from the park. 


August 22nd - Water Spectacular Weekend - The weather is warm and you will want to stay cool. So join us in some water fun. Water slides, water balloons, water volleyball and there will even be some water safety with Club Blazer’s own Hailey Hawk.


September 5th - 6th - Labor Day Weekend - End of the season fun! The kids will fish at the derby.  Take advantage of lots of water fun for the whole family. Teens will groove the night away at the teen dance. The family will enjoy lots of fun at the family dance besides dancing, We will have a end of the season BBQ in the park and lots of fun and games too. Don't forget the craft and variety fair and RV Show.


October 31st - It's going to be a Goblin Good Time Weekend -  Rain or shine, join in the festivities including: a site decorating contest, pumpkin carving contest, hot dog weenie roast at our campfire with John Carter, and our trick or treat hay ride and costume contest . Fun will abound at the family dance.
