APRIL 12 EASTER EGG HUNT
The Easter Bunny comes here too. Sunshine, rain or snow the hunt goes on. Rumor has it, there will be lots of candy and fun. Kids bring your basket.

 

MAY 23-25 PAW PRINTS
Show off your dog at the doggie dash relay races & agility course in town square. Check out the new doggie “duds” in the store when you buy your "Hot Doggies Lunch" special. The weekend ice cream socials will feature “Doggie Cones” just for our paws this weekend. Sunday will be the Paw Prints Scavenger Hunt then in the evening we will gather in the lodge for “Bowser Bingo”… with people of course.

JUNE 1-5 & 8-12 SPRING ADULT TIME OUT
Weekday fun for the adults and a chance to meet new friends. Join us daily playing bingo, bunco, Mexican train and more. Join us for a mid-week “Mexican Fiesta” dinner. Come on down to the lodge for all the fun!

JUNE 20-21 WHO LET THE DADS OUT?
Dad & kid teamwork will be the winning combo when kids pair up with their special partner at "The Games" in town square. “The Hired Hands” will entertain you in the evening with country & western music. Free pancakes & ice cream cones for Dads on Sunday.

JUNE 27-28 “Sustain the Spirit” with BEND'S 30TH BIRTHDAY BASH We’ll be celebrating our 30th anniversary with Special guests, anniversary dinner, and a evening slide show of the past with of course the Birthday Cake. It's sure to be a special weekend to reminisce about years gone by and maybe meet old friends. The annual HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT will be in full swing all week with a tournament for all ages and all skill levels. Everyone needs to come join in on this traditional event.

JULY 4-5 BEND OVER THE 4TH
Bend will be decorated to the max when you arrive for the 4th of July parade, games and the yummy banana split extravaganza built and eaten by our guests. Evenings entertainment will by our own and the most popular group "The Hired Hands” HORSESHOE TOURNAMENTS continue all weekend with the finale of the “Golden Horseshoe Tournament”.

JULY 8-12 PICKLEBALL MANIA #3
Five days of fun, food and friendly competition. Events will include, round
robin for men, women, youth and mixed. Challenge games, social times a
potluck and awards are all included in the busy week. Registration form will be on our Bend website so sign up early. We will have our mid-week dinner in full swing!

JULY 18-19 IT'S A JUNGLE PARTY
An exciting expedition is awaiting our young explorers as they navigate the wild Crocodile Alley Obstacle Course. Then try some exotic food at the jungle picnic - we dare you to sample. Of course the evening movie will be The Jungle Book. Sunday, "Rewards" are ready for those on the Jungle Hunt --- if you make it back.

JULY 25-26 OLD FASHION COUNTRY FAIR
We've rolled back the prices to 10 cents, rolled out the old fashion country games, added food and fun and hope you will roll on over for the weekend. Then in the evening we'll play Old Fashion Country Bingo.  

AUGUST 1-2 TT-NASCAR 2009
“Racers..on your mark!” Buy your race cars at the recreation office, paint, polish and warm up that car to prepare for the races. Prizes, driver photos, trivia, & tattoos will keep us busy. The evening movie will be "CARS" of course.

AUGUST 8-9 DOWN ON THE FARM
If Old McDonald can have a farm…so can we! The petting zoo is coming, complete with a mini horse, goats, donkey, wallaroo, zebra & rabbits. Farm animals and farm games will be the hit this Saturday. In the evening The Hired Hands will entertain with their country & western music.

AUGUST 15-16 WET’& WILD
Don’t forget the sunscreen and prepare to get wet. Sprinklers, slip n slide,
water balloons & water games. Anything to keep us wet & cool. Old Time Fiddlers are in the park from the 12th to the 16th, so bring your fiddle for fiddle camp.

AUGUST 22-23 PIRATES OF THE DESCHUTES
Don’t miss the pirate ship races. Get you crew signed up early. We’re off to find the treasure map around Deschutes Island. Landlubbers, come on over so you can get a piece of the treasure too, searching buy land. Pirate ship splits will be the featured ice cream special. There will be a pirate fashion show in the evening before the entertainment so bring your gear or
borrow ours from the recreation center. Then back by popular demand is Norm Lynn with a classic rock experience.

AUGUST 29-30 COUNTRY WESTERN WEEKEND
Good ole country style team obstacle course and pony rides will be here this weekend. Bring your cowboy/cowgirl clothes and hat and we will have another fashion show just before the evening’s entertainment. Let’s go country!!! Yee Haw!!! Roger “Hurricane” Wilson, our official “Club Blazer” singer is in the park to entertain.

SEPTEMBER 5-7 FAMILY FUN TRIATHLON
It’s all about family fun & teamwork this weekend. Get the team signed up early for our end of the summer triathlon. It’s going to be different this year with extra challenges. Kids challenging obstacle course on Sunday. Family Bingo Sunday evening with fun prizes.

SEPTEMBER 8-11 & 14-18 FALL ADULT TIME OUT
We had fun this spring, let ’s do it again this fall. Check out the schedule
and join us at the lodge for bunco, bingo, Mexican train, etc. and meet some new friends. Something fun going on every day and we’ll add in a potluck or special dinner. Come join us.
