May 11-13 “Mom’s Day Weekend”
Swimming pool reopens as we break into the camping season. Come treat mom to a special event in her honor.
May 18-20 “Victoria Weekend”
This is our first official holiday of the camping season, PHASE II is scheduled to open and we are planning a great birthday party time for you and the Queen.
May 25-28 “Memorial Weekend”
Enjoy the US Holiday in remembrance of the military who serve us. A special potluck sign up at the NEW Welcome Center. Event is planned June 2012 29th Annual Birch Bay Sandcastle Contest (date not set).
June 15-17 “Dad’s Day Weekend”
Celebrate Dads this weekend and come out for the fun in the sun and a water war kids against adults.
June 29-July 8 “Canada Day and 4th of July”
Holiday play for the US and Canada. An old-fashioned parade and car show scheduled in Blaine for the 4th of July and see the FIREWORKS
shown off property.
July 14 “6th Annual Art-2-Jazz Street Festival in Blaine”
Blaine continues to support and inspire the art in you; it’s a great event. We’ll be crafty crazy this weekend.

33rd Annual Discovery Days in Birch Bay July 21+22, 2012 down by the bay. See the local arts and crafts festival, enter the ducky derby, enjoy a community spirit parade and participate in our Thousand Trails Karaoke Booth, look for the Red Canopy and we’ll see you there!

August 3-5 “Drayton Harbor Days Festival Street Fair and Maritime Celebration”

August 13-18 “102nd Annual NW Washington Fair”
Although we are west of the Lynden Fairgrounds, Birch Bay is the place to cool off after your days of fun or between the long days of fair play. Whatcom County’s best will be there for your viewing.
August 24-26 “FEAR Factor comes to Thousand Trails Birch Bay”
We’ve got a weekend filled with the zaniest activities yet. Are you ready for it? You can participate or just own the rights to say you survived our 1st ever FEAR Factor weekend. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
August 31-September 3 “The Last of Summer Days”
Usually a crabbin’ good time before all the kids go back, join us for one last big campin’ party.
September 29 “An Early Thanksgiving Celebration”
Celebrate our 5th Annual Thanksgiving Potluck on Saturday, a week early for Canadians. Don’t miss out on the fun. Even if November is your normal turkey time, we would love to help you start a new tradition sharing an early Thanksgiving meal with your Thousand Trails Family here at Birch Bay. This year it will
be held a week earlier, but we hope you can make it.
December 31 “11th Annual Ring of Fire and Hope”
What New Year celebration would be complete without this peaceful event? Join the community of Birch as we reflect on 2012 and RING in our special tradition. Spend the night to participate in the Polar Bear Plunge the first day of 2013.
