Mondays:
**POTATO BAKE** 5pm - Bring your favorite topping or dessert to share. Bring enough for your group + 6 others.

Tuesdays:  
**RV SEMINAR** Classes include AC Elec, DC Elec, Appliances, Plumbing, Outside Maintenance, Towing (tow cars, 5th Wheels,trailers) and Miscellaneous (accessories, warranties) at 6:30pm in the Activity Center.

THEME WEEKENDS 2008

January 5:  WESTERN WEEKEND/JANUARY BIRTHDAY’S

Happy January birthdays!  Join us for cake, bingo, horse races horse shoes and lots of fun at the fire pit with baked potatoesand roasted marshmallows.  Music by Al Greene

 

January 12:  EVERYTHING CHOCOLATE WEEKEND

Chocolate lovers delight..Enjoy the chocolate fountain we will cover and dip it all. Candy Bar bingo in the A.C. 

January 19:  ADULT FISHING TOURNAMENT

Tournament for adults only.  Rules by Texas Parks and Wildlife must be followed.  Fishing licenses required. Fishing games in the A.C. and Sam Hartsell to entertain

Saturday night.

 

January 26:  NOT SO NEW NEWLYWED GAME

Who will we crown as the new King and Queen of Lake Conroe?  This game is a blast! Make sure you do your homework..Bingo in the afternoon and newly wed (or not so newly weds) game in the evening.  Please sign up in the A.C.

 

February 2:  SUPERBOWL WEEKEND/FEBRUARY BIRTHDAY’S

Football all day  banner making, pennant making, football trivia games and more games. Cheerleader tryouts…birthday cake and party.


February 3:  SUPERBOWL DAY

Meet in the A.C.  for the superbowl game  watch the super size screen and bring your favorite snacks to share.  Peanuts and popcorn will be provided along with  cheerleaders and favorite team spirit.

 

February 9:  VALENTINES DAY/SWEETHEART CELEBRATION

Enjoy our chocolate fountain.  Celebrate with your sweetie.  Take pictures in a romantic atmosphere while listening to Hayden Braun pleasure you with his delightful keyboard.

 


February 16:  MARDI GRAS

Join us for kings cake, crown making crafts in the A.C.. bingo, golf cart parade.Lucky 13 on a cruise thru Lucky 13 NewOrleans Stlye.

 

February 23:  CIRCUS OF PETS

Show off your pet on the patio.  Prizes awarded for the cutest, best dressed most talented a nd even one for owner look alike.  Petting  zoo,  Animal safari hunt in the trails (weather permitting).

 

March 1:  SPRING FLING/ CELEBRATE MARCH BIRTHDAY’S

Park beautification,  flower planting, table painting and especially for you lodge cooking demonstration on the patio. Bring your garden gloves. D.J. Roger Loving in the evening. Birthday cake punch  in A.C.

 

March 8:  INSIDE OUT WEEKEND

Everything is inside out and backwards. Inside games and outside games  bingo, bocce, t oe sack races , and lots of fun on the patio.  Prizes awarded for the funniest outfit.

 

March 15:  SHAMROCK SATURDAY

St. Patricks Day parade.  Shamrock cookies.  Wear something green. Shamrock scavenger hunt. Decorate you and your golfcart for the parade and win prizes. Green drinks on the patio.  Pickle eating contest

 

March 17 – 21:  SPRING CAMP

Kids Camp ages 5-11.  A week full of fun for boys and girls.  Organized playtimes,games, dancing, sign language and learn a skit for parents at the end of the week.



March 22:  EASTER WEEKEND

Easter Egg Hunt for those 12 & older and special needs Saturday evening in the fields. Bunny crafts and egg dyeing (bring your hard boiled eggs).  Egg in the spoon races. Meet the Easter Bunny.  Movie for the Kids

 

March 23:  HAPPY EASTER

Easter egg hunt for 11 yrs. and under.  Dress up the little ones for a parade.  Different areas for different ages .  Prizes given for “ special eggs “

 

March 29:  TRAIL DUST WEEKEND:

Bar-b-que cook off and bean contest.  Western crafts, hose races on hay bales, horse shoes.  Judges needed, please sign up in A.C.  Sam Hartsell for entertainment.

 

April 5:  ROCK THE SOCKS OFF/ BIRTHDAY PARTY

Come celebrate April birthdays and play games…balloon pop..hula hoop contest.  Paint rocks. Rock designs. Bring your favorite rock. Weird sock contest. Sock decorating. Sock hop with Roger Loving D.J.

 

April 12: SCRAPPY HAPPY

Scrap booking,  crafts with scraps,  scrappy dressers contest (look your worst) Bring scraps to A.C. to trade.  Flea market and trade days.

 

April 19:  CAJUN FEST

Fun filled day! Crawfish races, games on the patio.  Enjoy crawfish, boudain, corn on the cob and potatoes.  In the evening, join in on the patio for a night filled with  the best cajun band around. “ Bourbon Street “ will be here.

 

April 26:  KIDS FISHING TOURNAMENT

Pond fishing for kids.  Prizes awarded for the most fish, ugliest fish, biggest, and smallest fish.  Fish coloring page  craft.  Indoor fishing.  Movie  night.

 

May 3:  HOT TAMALE/ CINCO DE MAYO/ BIRTHDAY BASH

Taco making,  bean contest and mexican dishes contest. Tortilla tossing contest. Mexican hat dance.  Bean bag throwing.  Pinto bean bingo.  Birthday cakeand party in the A.C.

 

May 10:  HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY /MOM’S APPRECIATION

Mother’s day tea,  Mother and childrens trivia game.  Mom’s night out (babysitter’s available in family center with movie for kids).  Games in the A.C. Please sign up in the A.C.

 

May 17:  CRUISE LINE BINGO AND GAMES

All ages join in on the fun.  Games all day long.  Bingo marathon.  X-Box tournament

For anyone brave enough to take on the teens.Volleyball at the lake Basketball tournament with the staff.

 

May 24:  MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION

Apple bobbing, kids tattooing, moon walk,  water volleyball, memorial day crafts and last but not least Gary Hale and his band Diverzion will be with the best  entertainement you could ask for.  Join us for the evening and wear your dancing shoes.

 

May 31:  HOT SUMMER KICK-OFF

Outdoor games, volleyball at the lake, flag football, pickleball, hot dogs on the patio with corn on the cob, and to cool you off slushies or snow cones.  Cool of in the evening inside and play brown bag bingo ($3.00 gift  please)

 

June 7:  HAWAIIAN LUAU

Join us for a watermelon eating contest, hula hoop contest and a limbo contest. Dinner  will be a true Luau feast. Entertainment is back by popular demand Leialoha’s Hula Company.  Great entertainment includes a child dancer along with hula and fire dancers.

This is a show you do not want to miss.

 

June 9-13: SUMMER CAMP

June 14: DAD’S DAY OFF
Dad, this is your day! Calling all dads to come to the
Activity Center to show those legs in our best leg contest. Kid’s there will be crafts for you to make dad a gift. We’ll have football toss, and a pool tournament. Casino night Vegas Connection will be here.

June21: START ALL ENGINES
Remote control cars and boat races.. Blind golf cart races..Build-a-car craft

June 23-27  SUMMER
CAMP

June 28: JULY 4th CELEBRATION
Patriotic golf cart and bike parade, family softball game, patriotic crafts, coloring contest, volleyball at the lake, kid’s tattoo’s, root beer chugging, pony rides and a moonwalk. Watch for the pony rides. Silverado Band will be here.

July 5 : WET AND WILD WEEKEND
Let the games begin! All games will leave you soaked. Water volleyball..bring your water guns.

July 7 – 11 : SUMMER
CAMP

July 12: HOT WHEELS
Bring your radio controlled cars to the
Activity Center to race. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest. Join in the fun with a blind golf cart race.

July 19: FAMILY FUED
Let’s see which family is the winner. Sign up in the
Activity Center to play. Find out what kind of trip your family will be going on. Win the house of your dreams. The SUV you’ve been longing for. Hayden Braun pianist entertains tonight.

July 21-25: SUMMER
CAMP

July 28: DOG DAY’S OF SUMMER DOG SHOW
Bring your dog to show off!! -Hot Dog Eating Contest, Weiner Roast, Dog Howling Contest, and for the kid’s will show . Join us for a movie and popcorn in the A.C.


August 2:  WEIRD AND WACKY WEEKEND/ HAPPY AUGUST BIRTHDAY
All games today will be played wacky. Weird and wacky dress contest, balloon stomp and backwards relay races. Join us for august Birthdays with cake.

August 9:
REUNION  WEEKEND

Bring all your old photos of TT friends and places you visited get reaquainted.  Afternoon Social and games, games, games.

August 16:  SURFS UP

Wear a beach shirt, lets play water volleyball at a beach (pool party)  hot dogs at the pool.

August 23: FRUITY WEEKEND
Bring your ice cream freezers and lets make fruity ice cream. Also we’ll play fruit bingo, apple bobbing, pie baking contest, Jell-O eating contest and fruit relay races.

August 30: LABOR DAY WEEKEND
Decorate you Bike and Golf carts for the parade. Kid’s see how high you can jump in the moonwalk. Weather permitted the ponies will be here. Join us for crafts, candy bar bingo, volleyball at the lake and much more. Live entertainment
Bourbon Street will be here.

September 6: BROWN BAG BINGO!/ HAPPY SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAY’S
Join us for a day full of fun! BINGO for all ages with free cards. Bring a prize valued $3 in a brown bag.  Grand parents day celebration.

September 13: GAME MANIA
This is the day you don’t want to miss! Today is full of fun and games such as Lucky 13, farkel, right-left-center, and fruit bingo. Entertainer Hayden Braun .

September 20: PARADE OF PETS
Let’s parade the pets today. Prizes will be awarded for the cutest, largest, smallest, most tricks, best dressed, and most owner-look-a-like.

September27: HORSE PLAY
Put on your western attire, and join in the best-dressed contest. Try your hand in Horseshoes, and the horserace. The whole family will enjoy cowboy type competitions.
Rope your favorite cowboy and arrest them..

October 4: HOBO WEEKEND/HAPPY OCTOBER BIRTHDAY’S
Dress down for the fun! Hobo dress contest, sing-a-long by the campfire with a marshmallow roast, and later feast on birthday cake. Tonight will fix hobo soup, so bring a can good to put in the pot.

October 11: HOT AND SPICY CHILI COOK-OFF
It’s chili cook-off time! This is the day to get out the pots and fix your favorite chili recipe. You’ll want everyone to taste your wonderful creation, so be sure to make enough to share. Fall crafts.

October18: OCTOBER FEST
We’re celebrating one of the most cultural traditions around with apple bobbing, pie-throwing, sausage-on-a-string eating contest and root beer chugging contest along with other games in the Activity Center throughout the day.

October 25: MONSTER BASH
If you dare to be here for Halloween, we have lots of fun in store for you with pumpkin painting contest, Trick-or-Treat hayride, kid’s tattoo’s, apple bobbing, along with adult, kid’s and pet costume contest. Halloween’s not complete without a Haunted House, so if your not to scared he here at
Lake Conroe. This is a great weekend for the whole family!

November 1: GAMES, GAMES, AND MORE GAMES/HAPPY NOVEMBER BIRTHDAY’S
Bring your favorite game, and enjoy an evening full of fun. We’ll also play a game of fruit BINGO! and enjoy Birthday Cake. Club Blazer celebration.  X-Box tournament.

November 8: A SALUTE TO VETERANS
We’ll honor all those who served our country. Free Root Beer Floats for veterans, Veterans Day crafts, and a game of family washers are just a few fun activities we have planned here at
Lake Conroe. Flag retirement at the fire pit. Entertainment  Saturday

Night.

November 15: WELCOME BACK WINTER TEXANS
Let’s play Lucky 13, Candy Bar Bingo, and a game of. Right, Left, Center. Enjoy

November 20: THANKSGIVING
Happy Thanksgiving! We’re serving turkey, dressing, gravy, rolls and a drink for dinner at
1:00 pm. You bring a side dish and a dessert for your group and six other to share, and we’ll all be thankful. Oh, don’t forget your utensils!

November 22:
HOLIDAY CRAFT MAKING
Gather with us at the
Activity Center for Holiday Crafts, root beer floats. turkey bowl, candy bowl bingo, and a game of family washers.  Movie in A.C. with hot chocolate

And popcorn.

November 29: CHRISTMAS BINGO

 Let’s make Christmas ornaments then join us to decorate the Christmas tree. Afterwards the fun will continues with BINGO!  Lodge cooking demonstration on patio.  Cookie exchange, bring your favorite cookie and the recipe .  Crafts in A.C. cookie cans made with coffee cans.  Save cans with lids.

December 6: CHRISTMAS FOR KID’S
Santa’s stopping by early this year for a party and pictures. We’ll also have holiday crafts, hot chocolate, and don’t for get to decorate for the golf cart parade. Prizes will be awarded. For Dinner we’re serving
Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, Rolls and a Drink. Bring a side dish and dessert, enough for your group + 6 others to share.

December 13: COUNTRY CHRISTMAS
Come bake cookies with the Heustis Family! Join us for Holiday Crafts, Hot Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate and Cookies, games in the A.C. Adult Pool Tournament, and Christmas Movie.

December 20: WINTER WONDERLAND
Bundle up as we go on a Christmas caroling hayride through the park. Afterward will have hot chocolate with marshmallows and Christmas cookies.  Super Bingo Saturday
Night.

December 27: A YEAR TO REMEMBER 2008
Regale us with your 2008 stories as we enjoy music and snacks. We’ll be decorating for the New Year’s Eve Party, too!  Crafts in the A.C.  hats and table décor.

December 31: NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY
Ring in 2008 here at
Lake Conroe. Look what’s for dinner Prime Rib, Baked Potato, Salad, Dessert and Drink. We’ll have live entertainment, bring your favorite snacks and lets PARTY!!! We’re serving black-eyed peas at midnight, honoring a Texas tradition.
