May 1-3 Cinco de Mayo - Piñatas, hot sauce, jalapeños, sombreros, and more.  Come join Thunderbird as we go south of the border for a traditional Mexican celebration.

May 22-24 Welcome Back to Summer - Memorial Day week end ushers in the return of summer for many.  Welcome back the leisure filled days of summer as Thunderbird kicks off another great season of camping

June 12-14 Big Foot - Big Foot is loose at Thunderbird Track the footprints to see if you can find him.   Find his den of treasure and take some home. Learn all about this northwest folk ore legend as we bring Big Foot life.

June 19-21 Old Timin Camping Games (Fathers Day) - Help us celebrate fathers at Thunderbird as we take a trip back in time for some of those old time favorite camping games. Three legged race, water balloon toss, watermelon eating contest and more will all be revisited on this trip to the back in time. 

July 3-5 Red White and Blue - Proud to be an American!  Help us celebrate this great country!  Show your spirit by wearing the colors.  Local fire works, Hot dogs, baseball and all things American will be part of this weekend.

 July 17-19 Adventure days - Adventure is the theme the Adventure Race is the way we do it.  Follow clues around the preserve to checkpoints where your team will be challenged with creative problem solving tasks. Team work is the key to unlocking the adventure.

 

August 7-9 River Festival - Fishing, rafting, salmon feasts and more will all be a part of this week long celebration of the Skykomish River.  Find Nemo not only will we be showing the popular animated movie but we need your help to find Nemo in the park and release him back into the river.

August 21-23 Western Days - Yea Haaa!  Dress like a cowboy, Walk like a cowboy, Talk like a cowboy and you can be a cowboy too.  Thunderbird comes alive in the old west. 

September 4-7 Member Appreciation Days - One last hurrah!  The staff at Thunderbird would like to thank our members for another great summer of camping! Join us as we pull out all the stops to thank our members for making Thunderbird what it is!  The best music, the best food and the best activities will all be on tap.
