Feb 2nd Ground Hogs Day Party! Join us at noon for lunch served and fun activities in our South clubhouse.

Feb 14th Happy Heart Day Luncheon served in our South Clubhouse at noon for all members and guests.

Feb 21st – 24th Newport Wine and Seafood Festival

March 22nd Spring Break “Blow Out” at Whalers Begins! The BBQ Grill will be hot and ready, crazy fun will be happening all around the park. Get geared up for a crazy week of fun.

March 23rd Whalers Galley will be serving up yummy breakfast and dinner today. Lunch will be served at the BBQ on the South Side. Tonight at 7pm we will have “Bingo Blast Night” in our North Clubhouse. Lots of fun for all ages, free popcorn and many give always!

March 26th Tonight at 7-9pm will be Whalers Teens Only Party in our North Clubhouse for 12 to 21 years old. Come have a lot of fun and enjoy crazy stuff with great prizes.

March 27th It’s “Super Candy Bar Bingo Night”! Come join the fun in our South Clubhouse at 7pm Lots of fun for all ages and it’s Free!

March 28th Hey kids don’t miss the fun! Tonight at 6pm It’s Kids Extreme Night. We are planning a lot of crazy games and snacks. Parents tonight is your night for a break. Drop off your kids in the South Clubhouse and take a few hours off.

March 29th Join us for a great BBQ Lunch by the South Clubhouse at Noon and hang around for Easter Egg Dying following. We’ll supply the eggs and dye you just come decorate.

March 30th Whalers Galley is serving up Breakfast and Dinner. Lunch will be served by the South Clubhouse at the BBQ area. Be sure to attend the Ice Cream Social in our South Clubhouse. At 2:30pm we’ll be having the kids Easter Egg Hunt! Just meet in the South Clubhouse fordirections. Tonight after Dinner at 7pm in our South Clubhouse, It’s “Egg Extravaganza Party” come share laughs, fun and prizes.

May 11th Today we honor all Mothers! Join us at the Ice Cream Social in our South Clubhouse at 2pm All Moms get a small sundae or cone for free.      

May 24th - 26th Hurry on over to the “Whalers At The Big Top” weekend. Bring the kids and family to the Whalers Carnival Saturday afternoon in our Tennis Court area. There will be plenty of fun and prizes. We will also be serving up yummy Breakfast, BBQ and Dinner. Dr. Delusions will be performing his magic in the South Clubhouse Saturday night at 7pm

June 14th – 16th “Whalers Outback” is the wild theme for this weekend. We’ll have the animals on the loose for our Safari Hunt and kids we will be having extreme tropical crafts too! Head on over to the Whalers Galley Saturday night at 5pm to catch dinner before the Nehemiah Brown performance in our South Clubhouse Saturday Night at 7pm.

June 22nd - 23rd - Splash Into Summer
We celebrate not only summer but our members too! Join us for a free Ice Cream Sundae Social, "Movie In The Park" (weather permitting) and lots of extra fun activities.

June 27th This Thursday will be our Kids Extreme Game Night! “Survivor Night” is the party theme. Parents drop your kids off at 6pm in our South Clubhouse for a great party with lots of laughs. Be sure to pick them up at 9pm

June 28th - 30th "Spooks are Loose" Whalers is calling all goblins and monsters to our haunted park. Bring your best costume and enter our contest! We will have a "Fright Party" in our South Clubhouse at 2:00 p.m. Don't forget Dinner will be served and the "Bush Pilots" will be performing in our South Clubhouse at 7 p.m.

July 4th – 7th “Stars & Stripes Galore Weekend” starts off early with a great 4th of July parade and site decorating contests. We’ll be serving up a special BBQ lunch in our North Clubhouse at Noon on the 4th following the parade. Saturday, in the North Clubhouse at 7pm, will be “American Bingo Fun”.

July 12th – 14th Ho Ho Ho! “Santa Hits The Surf” at Whalers this weekend. Join us for Christmas Dinner Saturday night at 5pm in our North Clubhouse followed by a Huge “ Christmas Party “ in our South Clubhouse at 7pm Come join the fun and let’s see who’s been naughty or nice. Also we have the ugliest Christmas Sweater contest, so plan ahead!

July 19th – 21st “Oregon Territory Weekend” joins the wagon train of fun this weekend. We will revisit the history of Oregon, make some awesome Oregon Coastal Art, and enjoy the travels in our very own Whalers Wagon Train. Ron Diller will entertain us Saturday night in the South Clubhouse at 7pm

July 26th – 28th “Sea Creature Escape” weekend at Whalers Rest, Calling all Sleuths! Whalers has been invaded. Help us solve this weekend long mystery. Then we’ll celebrate with Fiddlin’ Fun Saturday night in the South Clubhouse at 7pm with the Bush Pilots.

Aug 2nd – 4th “Arg! Pirates of The Pacific” hit the Whalers Rest Island this weekend. Captain Shari is trying to find her treasure. Come help her or you could get thrown into the Brig. Saturday Night we will celebrate with Nehemiah Brown and his music in the South Clubhouse, at 7pm

Aug 9th – 11th It’s Our “Un Tea Party Weekend” at Whalers Rest. Be sure to keep a look out for some of our favorite characters. Oh, and a Golden key is missing can you help? Set your schedule aside for the “Wonderland Party” Saturday night in our South Clubhouse at 7pm

Aug 16th – 18th “Oops, Honey I Shrunk the Kids” weekend. Check out the challenges and games that our recreation crew is facing with a world much larger than us! Dr. Delusions will be performing his magic at 7pm in our South Clubhouse.

Aug 22 - “It’s A Happy Birthday Party” for all the kids at Whalers. Parents come drop off your kids for lots of fun games in the South Clubhouse. Party starts at 6pm and ends with pick up at 9pm

Aug 23rd – 25th Whalers is “Over The Rainbow” this weekend. Come follow the yellow brick road with us to Emerald City. OZ will present lots of activities for all ages. At the end of the rainbow on Saturday night will be a celebration with “The Graber, Souter & Rupp Band” at 7pm in the South Clubhouse.

Aug 30th – 31st “Off to the Races” this weekend brings lots of pinewood derby car making. Racers and fans tune up with our Whalers Rest Dinner in the North Clubhouse at 5pm before the race. Then hit the racetrack at 7pm in our South Clubhouse for the big race.

September 7th - 8th - Thanks for the Memories - Celebrating a great summer especially with our members. We salute you with a free Ice Cream Sundae Social, "Movie In The Park" (weather permitting) and lots of extra fun activities.

Sept. 13th – 15th We are celebrating “International Chocolate Weekend” at Whalers Rest. So Chocolate lovers set aside this weekend to enjoy camping and share your favorite chocolate recipe at our Chocolate Social.
