THEME WEEKENDS 2008

JUNE 20TH - 22ND : TROPICAL PARADISE
Bring your funkiest Hawaiian shirt and join in the fun! We are hosting a “best dressed” contest while sharing a little of Hawaii with you at our luau. Be sure to join us for the luau dinner Saturday night. Kids get ready for the super giant 19’ water slide.

JUNE 21ST : NEHEMIAH BROWN
This great artist will be making his debut for Thousand Trails at 7:00 p.m. in our South Clubhouse. You will sway to the sounds of Rock and Roll, Motown and Nat King Cole.


JUNE 24TH :TEEN CLUB BLAZER NIGHT “FEAR FACTOR”
Tonight the fun begins for teens 12 – 20 yrs old. Meet us in the North Clubhouse at 7:00p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Are you fearless and ready to meet anything? Gather with us and we’ll see who can with stand anything. Great fun!


JUNE 27TH-JUNE 29TH : OUTTA THIS WORLD
Blasting full of fun, and creatures from who knows where. Don’t be alarmed if our resident Alien appears he loves throwing parties though. Train to be an alien and make your very own creature.


JUNE 28TH : DR DELUSIONS
This fun magic show will dazzle your eyes as you wonder what will be next. Join the fun in the South Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.


JULY 4TH – 6TH : ALL THAT SPARKLES
Celebrate big this fourth on the coast. Whalers will party it big with our 4th of July parade, family BBQ fun, and games. We will let the sparks fly with our tasty banana splits and campfire fun.

JULY 5TH : DEE SMITH
Come take a trip musically down memory lane as we listen to Dee and salute our nation’s birthday celebration. Gather in our South Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m.


JULY 11TH – 13TH : PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ
We are setting the mood right and taking this weekend to the top. Join us for a fancy night out at our Whalers Galley. Also allow time to attend our Glitz and Glamour class for all ages. Then you’ll be in the right mood for our famous Whine ( Yes Whine !) and Cheese party.

JULY 12TH : PAUL KING
Tonight Mr. Paul King will put on the Ritz with his vocals in our South Clubhouse at 7 p.m. Get ready to travel memory lane with some of your favorite tunes.

JULY 17TH : KIDS EXTREME GAME NIGHT
Tonight we’ll turn the South Clubhouse over to the kids for fun games, swimming, and a great movie. It’ll start at 7:00 p.m. parents can pick you up at 11:00 p.m.

JULY 17TH - 20TH - ANNUAL HORSESHOE TOURNATMENT
Singles and partners come and join the fun. If you don't have a partner, no fear, we'll pair you up here! Lots of fun and prizes. Beginners can come down and join the horseshoe clinic for some great pointers.

JULY 18TH – 20TH : WAY OUT WEST
Howdy partners lets gather at the corral and show them ole’ folks what is happin’ at Whalers. Look out for the sheriff he might arrest ya or Salley Mae might just chase you to the Hitchin’ post. If you find yourself wanting to wet your whistle at the smoothie bar it will be open for all cowpokes.


JULY 19TH : HIRED HANDS
Shine up your boots and get on over to the South Clubhouse at 7:00 p.m. This trio will help you tap your feet to their country songs or take a twirl with your favorite gal or fellow.

JULY 22ND : TEEN CLUB BLAZER NIGHT “BLACK JACK FUN”
Tonight the fun begins for teens 12 – 20 yrs old. Meet us in the North Clubhouse at 7:00p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Ya need no money just ready to have a great time. We’ll teach ya if you have never played and perhaps you will go home with a few door prizes.

JULY 25TH – 27TH : ROCK & ROLL
Calling all Elvis’s to report this weekend to our Elvis party and Karaoke party. Mom and Pops will serve famous burgers and banana splits. All Club Blazer kids will get to make their own pet rocks. Roll over to the Friday night bingo game for the adults or to the campfire fun. JULY 26TH : Elvis Party Fun at 7p.m. South Clubhouse Get Ready to PARTY! Tonight we will rock the big times with a fun party and taking a trip back to the past with fun games and laughs of the good ole' times.

AUGUST 1ST - 3RD : MAKE ME LAUGH
Needed best jokesters around and their awesome material for our famous dessert improv and coffee bar. Activities this weekend are no laughing matter, but proven to be a lot of fun at each gathering. So why did Shari cross the road? …come this weekend to find out.

AUGUST 2ND : DR DELUSIONS
Fun and laughs at tonight’s magic show in our South Clubhouse. The fun will begin at 7:00 p.m. We’ll see the young and young at heart.

AUGUST 8TH – 10TH : UNDER THE SEA
We are going to great depths to have a lot of fun this weekend. Get ready to get in to the sand at our very own beachcombing hunt. Kids don’t miss out, the under sea party will be quite a blast. Keep an eye out for the whales hidden around the park. Turn them into the store for special prizes.

AUGUST 9TH : HIRED HANDS
Swim on over to the South Clubhouse for the country beat. The house will sway to the tunes of this family. Come enjoy the entertainment at 7:00 p.m.

AUGUST 15TH – 17TH : LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
Don’t forget your sunglasses this weekend with all the flashes in store. Perhaps you’ll flash on over to our stunt competition. We will be having our name the star contest all weekend. This weekend will also be our annual “ Christmas for Children” garage sale. AUGUST 16TH : Its" Night at the Oscars". Tonight we'll put out the red carpet and dim the lights for a memorable party. Put on your best party clothes or grab your favorite date and join us 7 p.m. sharp in our South Clubhouse

AUGUST 21ST : KIDS EXTREME GAME NIGHT
Tonight we’ll turn the South Clubhouse over to the kids for fun games, swimming, and a great movie. It’ll start at 7:00 p.m. parents can pick you up at 11:00 p.m.

AUGUST 22ND – 24TH : CIRCUS & CARNIVAL FUN
This weekend we’ll roll out the big top. Under the tent will be games and a cookie walk for all ages. So bring your clown nose and get ready to show off your smile as we make some fun memories.

AUGUST 23RD : WAYNE GRABER
Wayne is performing famous country songs and original ones in our South Clubhouse tonight. Get your friend, family, or neighbor and meet us at 7:00 p.m.

AUGUST 29TH – 31ST : PIRATES ON THE PACIFIC
Aye mates don’t cross yer captian or yer be walkin’ thee plank. Shiver me timbers the pirates will be battling this weekend . Ther’ be treasure buried somewhere on this land and some land lubber will dig fer it.

AUGUST 30TH : DAVE BLACK
Tonight be sharin’ the 50’s & 60’s tunes of the past as Dave helps us celebrate our favorites at 7:00 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 5TH – 7TH : VEGAS NIGHTS
Shine your shoes, bring your Sunday best cause this weekend we are having our “Black & White” gala party. Also added to our fun for the adults will be our blackjack tournament.

SEPTEMEBER 6TH : CASINO NIGHT
Adults, try your luck at blackjack. Kids, we'll have carnival games galore! 7 p.m. in the South Clubhouse.

SEPTEMBER 12TH – 14TH : SPORTSMENS PARADISE
Calling all sports minded this weekend. There will be targets throughout the park with many competitions and our first “Great Hunt” competition and sportsmen’s dinner.

SEPTEMBER 13TH : BUSH PILOTS
Foot stompin’ fun as we take in this group at our South Clubhouse tonight at 7:00 p.m.

SEPTEMBER 19TH – 21ST : OH, TO BE A KID AGAIN
All boys and girls, guys and gals, we are having competitions this week. Will the winners be the gals or girls, or perhaps guys or boys? Join us in the fun and lets celebrate the gals I mean the guys ….oh well, just come to find out who!!!!!

SEPTEMBER 20TH - RON DILLER
Ron is a crowd favorite and one heck of a guitar artist. Let him dazzle you with guitar and harmonica performances. 7 p.m. in the South Clubhouse.

SEPTEMBER 26TH – 28TH : ARABIAN NIGHTS
The bazaar tent’s ready and stuff is here for our bazaar tent sale. After shopping, you can take in our “Belly Dancing Competition”. Saturday afternoon will be reserved for our genie bottle making class, need to bring your own genie.

SEPTEMBER 27TH : DEE SMITH
Dee is going to sing us through the decades tonight. He will surprise you with his voice, so join us in the South Clubhouse at 7:00p.m.

OCTOBER 3RD – 5TH : CRABS UNITE
This weekend is really going to the crabs. Join our crab class, enter our crab wars, or you can participate in the parks crab search.

OCTOBER 4TH : OREGON FIDDLERS
Fiddlin’ fun with this group has proven to be a hit at Whalers. Tonight at 7:00 p.m. starts the fun and come early to get a good seat.

OCTOBER 10TH – 12TH : WHALERS SLUG FESTIVAL
No matter the weather, it will be a slippery weekend at Whalers. This will be our first annual slug festival. We will be holding pet slug adoption classes and have slug races. This will be a great gift opportunity for your loved one at Christmas this year.

OCTOBER 11TH : DAVE BLACK
We are celebrating 50’s and 60’s style with Dave tonight in our South Clubhouse. He will turn down the lights, polish up the dance floor, and start his singing at 7:00 p.m.
