How do I access my membership account?
In the upper right hand corner of every page is a member's sign in link. It says "Already a member? Sign in." Once you click on the link, you will see a "MEMBER LOGIN" link on the the page. That is the quickest path. You will also find a member's "Sign In" location on just about every page of the website.
How do I make reservation?
You no longer have to log in twice to make a reservation if you go directly to that feature of the web site. Once you sign in, just click on the Reservations tab in the top part of the Members Only page. You will also be able to view current reservations and be able to manage your reservations in addition to making a new reservation. When you are ready to leave the Members Only section, just log out in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Other useful security-related tips:
Members logging in are given three tries to enter the correct member number with the correct PIN. If an incorrect member number/PIN combination has been tried three times, the system will lock you out. This is to prevent others from trying different PINs on your member number to break into your account. If the system locks you out, please call Member Services at (800) 388-7788 to have your account reset.
In the case of no activity for 5 minutes (i.e. no changing pages or clicking buttons) while logged in, the system will automatically close your session. This means that you will have to go to the login page and re-enter your member number/PIN combination.
If you are logged in and for some reason you close your browser (power outage or just clicked the wrong button), you will have to wait 5 minutes from the last time you loaded a Thousand Trails reservation web page until you can log in again. These logins do not count towards your 3 invalid login attempts.
